Following the success of our King Lear at the Bondi Pavilion last year this will be an exciting new production based on last year's but with a new director, Tanya Denny and with David Ritchie (last year's director) as King Lear. Critics and audiences alike have always enjoyed our respect for Shakespeare's language, drama and characterisation, which gives a sparkling clarity to the productions. At the same time we celebrate the theatrical genius that makes Shakespeare such a brilliant entertainer, and which is often overlooked by conventional critics.
