Director - Tanya Denny graduated from NIDA in 1992 (Acting) and again in 1998 (Directing). Since graduating she has directed State of Origin, Wilderness of Mirrors ( Naked Theatre Company), I'm Too Beautiful To Be A Lesbian (Mardi Gras 1999), Rented Times, Rented Rooms (Mardi Gras 2000), Dog (Brown Bag productions), & Trading Desire (That Elusive Thrill) and Hotbed (Mardi Gras 2001). Whilst at NIDA Tanya directed Miss Julie and also created The Girlie Show. Tanya is currently co-artistic director of WriteQueer. In 2001 she directed Who's afraid of the Working Class? ( New Theatre) and Mary Stuart (QueenSize Productions) which has played at New Theatre, Belvoir Street Theatre Downstairs (Sydney Fringe Festival 2001), Old Fitzroy Hotel (Tamarama Rock Surfers) and The Wollongong Workshop Theatre. Mary Stuart was invited to The International Fringe Festival in New York where it received awards for Best Costume and Best Actor. Most recently Tanya directed Mahal by Petrina Smith (SGLMG). In August Tanya will be guest director for Teatro Cortile in Italy.

Stage Manager - Jenelle Pearce studied acting at Wollongong University, then graduated at Charles Sturt University in Wagga with a BA. She has appeared in The White Devil at STC, Choi Doi at Belvoir St Theatre and in Romeo and Juliet at the Italian Forum. Being Jack of all trades she now stage manages, her recent credit being Dog Logs at Darlinghurst Theatre. She is also undertaking her DipEd in education.

Lighting Designer - Karen Jenkins has studied lighting in Sweden and worked abroad for the past 15 years. After returning to Australia worked with King Lear last year, and in theatre around Sydney. While abroad involved with theatre, dance, opera and arts performances, in Japan, Guatemala, Sweden and the Swedish Shakespeare Co on Gotland.

Set Design - Tom Bannermann has been designing continuously for Sydney theatres since 1971. This is his fourth King Lear. Recent works are The Oldest Profession for the Ensemble and Hard Times for the New Theatre. Tom often builds, sculpts and paints his sets which is the case here. He has a MA in Theatre Studies, has represented Australia in the Olympic Games of Scenography, the Prague Quadrennial (1991), and teaches Visual Arts.

Fight Director - Lawrence Carmichael: Actor, singer, fight director. As performer, Lawrence has worked professionally with companies such as QTC, National Stage Co and 'Strut & Fret'. As fight director, Lawrence is qualified by the Society of Australian Fight Directors and excels in most weapons as well as slapstick and stage stunts. He works extensively through theatre - recently Ensemble Theatre's Noises Off , David Atkins' Singing in the Rain, as well as some upcoming films.

Costume Design - Katherine Raven

Sound Operation - Alice Cadwell is a graduate from the School of Communication at Charles Sturt University - Bathurst, where she studied Theatre/Media. She is currently the Production/Stage Manager for Circus Monoxide. Her recent credits include stage managing the Canadian production The Kabbalistic Phychoanalysis of Adam R. Tzaddik at this years Adelaide Fringe Festival. She was production manager of the 2001 Australian National Playwrights Conference in Canberra. Alice has also worked abroad with the MakampomCommunity Theatre group in Thailand.

Graphic Design - Ben Carew started designing in 1997 after a protracted battle with ***** His company , Illegal iD recently completed the identity design for the play The Dog Logs and, along with Christopher Johnson is orchestrating the identity and publicity for Bodies 2002 at the Newtown Theatre.
